Add Your Own Touches (Book of Genesis, Opening Chapters)

There is no one right Hypnovel for any particular novel. Even though The Dreamaker is working from set text, so many other elements are your own choice: the setting, the opening scene, the recurring scene, the visual style, the voice… that’s all you. Sometimes you want to find a style that, in your mind’s eye, seems to be appropriate for the book you’re working with — choosing Noir as your visual style, for example, for a thriller or mystery, or Manga for a “younger” book.

But suppose you want to do something completely… opposite? Or unexpected? We did that with the first chapters of the first book of the Bible, the Book of Genesis. It’s the beginning of everything, so why not go with… the colorful clay kids use to make stuff?
